As the class began and the teacher cued us to notice our breath, soft tears began to roll down my cheeks. I felt like I was coming home- to my breath, body, and heart. Slow, gentle movement in sync with my breath allowed my stressed-out nervous system to settle down and I felt a deep peace and a sense that all is well.
